How Lower your salt intake





The salt is good for the body in moderation, but when it is consumed in excess amounts can cause serious side effects. So it's a good idea to lower your salt intake to stay healthy. Here are some practical ways to help you do this.



Avoid processed foods



Processed foods are often high in salt, add it to the taste, and to preserve the food helps. These foods include meats, sausages, cheese, salted butter, cereal, canned goods, dressings, sauces and spices, as well as chips and pretzels.
